Barking For Biscuits
Barking For Biscuits
Six furry balls huddled in the corner. All black with ‘Phil Specter hair’ going every which way, their fat bellies extended and moving up and down in a
cadence to be envied by the Rockettes. Except one however.
Breaking rank and file, shattering the tranquility of her paper-lined, metal-barred home, her black-eyed-and-pink-tongued mug pressed against the cage, her spasmodic body uncontrollable in take-me-home, take-me-home mode. Jumping, pleading, break-dancing on yesterday’s news. Who could resist?
And that’s how our life began with our Sausage
Dog, Quiche Lorraine, the star of this story.
She was the one. This little black animated fur ball had given the song and dance of her life and we bought it hook line and sinker. (Copyright 2008, Sandra Hart. All Rights Reserved)
