Three years ago I was third in a 5K Lance Armstrong Race. I was a healthy and very active woman in my 60’s and then one morning I could hardly get out of bed. I was eventually diagnosed with the auto-immune condition polymyalgia rheumatica and my whole world as I knew it changed over night.  This website is dedicated to those like me who are searching for a more full and pain-free life Living With PMR.

Living With PMR TIP: Skip the jelly on your bread and spread on some apple butter. It’s got more appetite-quelling fiber than most sugar-laden jams. For a nutritious snack, mix a tablespoon of apple butter into protein-packed cottage cheese and sprinkle with cinnamon and sunflower seeds
